I wish the workout vid had a few power forwards. Obviously Tatum's defense will improve, but he got lit up in the highlights of the other guys (guys who aren't huge offensive threats) even though he shouldn't really ever be guarding someone like Jordan Clarkson.
I'd like to see how he defends a 6'9" or 6'10" guy with a solid body. The more different styles the better but I'd be happy seeing him guard an increasingly rare post scorer, a floor spacer, a point forward (maybe not realistic, not that many 6'9" point forwards and they're all pretty amazing).
I'm curious if it's easier for him at this stage in his development to guard a bigger guy than a smaller guy. I feel like with his 8'10" standing reach and great footwork, he may have more success guarding a power forward than D'ing up guards like Clarkson & Oubre (SG/SF).
