Former Ohio State big man Jared Sullinger signed a two-month, $300,000 deal in September to play for the Shenzhen Leopards in China, and he was so dominant over that time that he agreed to a lucrative contract extension in November to play through the end of the Chinese Basketball Association season. His numbers this season have been eye-opening, but Tuesday, Sullinger took his production to an even higher level.

He’s currently averaging 31.2 points, a league-high 17.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Leopards in 26 games and judging by the picture below, he has lost a considerable amount of weight.

Against shoddy competition where Marbury thrived after not making an NBA team.

Good for him but this won't translate to even 5 minutes per game in the NBA

I would love to see a Sully/Yabu double screen. You'd need an uber ride to get around them.

Good to see him keep the weight off. Always found it fascinating that even the lure of a set-you-up-for-life 1st non-rookie contract wasn't enough to help him overcome his demons.

Good luck Sully. Hope to see you back on a roster someday.

Nobody ever doubted the talent.

Could easily return to NBA as role player at any time he stays at weight and hits a corner 3.

Still a better rebounder than Aron Baynes.

Then again, anyone can put up 40/31/8 in China leagues lol.

He can still come back to NBA as long as he is committed into maintaining good conditioning. He's a borderline All-Star if he actually came into shape.

In all honesty your rookie first round pick contract should set you up for life if you arenít stupid with your money.
