This seems like he would be the ideal big man off the bench for our team, no?  He didn't get a lot of burn last season and I wasn't paying much attention to him.  Can anybody attest if he can still play emergency minutes as a floor stretching 7 foot center?  I think I'd surely take him over Smith and Robinson.  Please merge if another thread already out there.

Interesting that they couldn't find a way to deal him or Monroe to stay under the tax.

cons:
seems like a poor mans kelly olynk.
i'd probably rather go w robinson and see if stevens can turn him into something.
