The blockbuster trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics may be on hold. According to a report from ESPN.com's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavaliers are "still evaluating" Thomas' injured hip following Friday's physical and and are "weighing options" with regard to the completion of the deal that would send Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics.

Adrian Wojnarowski@wojespnThomas traveled to Cleveland, took exam and flew back out of town, sources said. All players must pass physical, or a deal can be voided
Adrian Wojnarowski@wojespnAs one source involved in the process involving Thomas' medical clearance told ESPN late Friday night, "It's a very sensitive situation."
While it may not be best long-term, I want the trade to fall through just to see IT have a 40ppg season.
Sounds like BS to me. If our docs decide he didnt need surgery then whats the worst case? He could need surgery? They want Jae and they want the Brooklyn pick.
This could be Cleveland and Lebron screwing the C's into giving up another asset in the trade, in which case I'd tell them to go kick rocks.

if they do anything to the deal, i expect it would be to expand it a bit. maybe a second round pick here, a bench player there.but, i would not be surprised if ainge plays hardball and say take it or leave it.
