too fast for a team that can not get lebron shaq or durant in free agency, the celtics found themselves with 3 all stars... 2 moves made this happen..
THE NETS TRADE and BRAD...especially brad who actually created value out of nothing... we got picks for players who disappeared afterwards (crawforrd? wright?)
for the first time he will have 3 top players (irving horford hayward)3 young guys with great upside (smart brown and tatum)  and some tough veterans like morris and baynes to help...
yes we had the best record in east but we got destoyed by the cavs
obviously after rebuilding is over the next goal is to be solid and competitive through the next 7-8 years. i do not think that anyone in the league had us last year as contender... ask them again this year... so if we manage to become better every year with so many good players entering their primes... we will eventually win
one two things about what ainge said yesterday after the trade...
1.trading is probably not over...
2.he said too many times that irving has not entered his prime yet... horfords age is 32?maybe the third all star is not horford after all...

I do think that this move was made with the assumption that the Cavs still have a window and we will capitalize when it closes.
