LeBron hates Kyrie, so naturally he gets traded to us for pounds on the dollar.

We trade IT out of nowhere, naturally to our conference rival.

Surely both of these guys are chomping at the bit to play the Celtics. We know first-hand what these guys can do when they are on a mission. Throw in a little Crowder resentment for more wholesome fun.

I'm more scared of Cleveland tonight than I was this morning.

IT could not even make it through the playoffs.
We got the better player.

And we got Hayward and horford. And we got brown/tatum/smart off the bench while cavs got 55 year old richard jefferson and Jeff green.

Valid points all around.

How jilted will IT feel, though, given that we sent him to play with LeBron and we got Irving in return? He may still hold a major grudge, but it's not like we sent him to Brooklyn for pennies on the dollar.

On the other hand, Irving will know that the spotlight is on him whenever we play the Cavs and when the playoffs roll around. If there really is that much animosity between Irving and James, then hopefully Irving catches fire against the Cavs whenever we play them.

I have no ill-will towards you IT4, but I have to watch Kyrie Irving light you up in the playoffs.
As for LeBron, he and Hayward will destroy him in Celtics uniform, finally.

At least now Irving and Hayward can guard Curry and Thompson...which matters more.
Still need an answer for Draymond Green and Kevin Durant though.

I wasn't scared of Cleveland before, still not scared of them now.

If they start Crowder, then their defence with Thomas / Lebron / Love is going to be even more atrocious then it was at times last year with Kyrie / Lebron / Love...and I can't imagine Rose would be the type to humbly accept a bench role.

If they start Rose at SG instead of Crowder, then it'll be even worse.

Crowder can no longer team up with AB to work as a team to cover for Thomas' defensive limitations.  Lebron is a princess who doesn't even bother playing defence on his own man half the time, he's not going to help cover to Thomas.  Crowder is going to have his hands full in a huge way and will pretty much be covering both guard positions his entire time on the court.
