The Celtics are pretty complete as a team right now. I could see more bench scoring and rebounding as a need.

With only 4 remaining players, I could see chemistry issues dictating needs once the season starts. If I were Danny, I would open up bench spots for the young guys. Keep as many smaller contracts as possible in the event that another trade opportunity becomes available.

If we had to trade IT and the BKN pick, we can rationalize that we're basically contenders now.  And contender status means you finally get to add those guys that win over your heart -- 'Sheed, Nate Rob, Delonte.  I want a couple of knuckleheads to root for, at least for a year or two -- it's going to take that long to warm up to Kyrie as a Celtic for me.

Good reason to bring back someone from last season. Need practice bodies that know where to be.

Green, Zeller... I liked Zeller more than most, but someone needs to show him to the weight room and lock the door.

That's not possible by so many league rules, so maybe hope for something more realistic.

LOL.

Don't know why you would only want Noel on a deal like that though.

A bench of Rozier, Smart or Brown, Tatum, Morris, Theis, Yabu, Semi, and Larkin is really lacking veteran leadership. Would be nice to have a Dudley type guy for that unit.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I'd like Tony Allen to come back.  Last year we had Gerald Green as the instant office vet bench option, but with acquisitions like Hayward and Irving, and even Tatum to a lesser extent, I think a vet instant-defense guy is the way to go.

I'm excited to see who we can get for the minimum! I think someone unexpected might sign with us. I would love a Tony Allen signing

Saw this suggested on Twitter. Reaching out to Allen would definitely be worthwhile. We need some defense-first players now.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
