Is danny ainge cashing in more chips?

Full ainge conference call on kyrie: https://youtu.be/SMyW0Pbr8ks

If you notice, ainge repeats "age 25" and kyries age a lot. He's impressed with what he's accomplished so quickly

What else can we do? Unless we're trading Horford, we can't take on any more salary, and there aren't any draft picks better than the BKN 18 to trade for.

what other things can we trade? Cant trade kyrie and tatum and lakers pick for davis- can we? Even though it works in trade machine.  Gasol coming next? That would even be more impossible due to salary. Shaq unretiring? What else is left. Horford for?

Well at least one roster spot opened up and if you think Larkin doesn't make the team, maybe two spots. Gotta think Danny has some vet min in mind to fill it. And if he has another trade going by moving the LA pick, it has to be some young player on a rookie contract because who else do we have in salary to trade.

Could Morris and parts be headed with picks to Dallas in a sign and trade for Noel? Nah. But what other moves could he make? Gotta think about this.

Personally I prefer MJ in his prime.  Sadly, we aren't getting either for Al Horford and a pick  :-[

As others have said, we just lost a huge trade chip, so additional moves that move the needle may be challenging.

Could Ainge potentially be referring to other moves made around the league? Maybe the Nets are on the verge of landing a significant upgrade that would immediately reduce the value of the 2018 pick? Could IT end up missing half the season?

Ainge is a sharp guy, so I have a hard time believing he'd make a statement like that without some validity to it.

I don't think Noel is attainable.  If he were willing to sign for $13-14 million in year one, which is about the most we can pay him without including Brown, Tatum, Smart, or Horford (assuming we don't trade five players to get him), he'd already have signed a deal with the Mavs.  Realistically you'd have to send about $14 million in outgoing salary to match the salary he's currently willing to hold out for.  It's just too much salary.

JaMychal Green is probably the RFA most achievable with Morris' salary as the primary component.  Throw in Nader and he could get a little above the full MLE equivalent, which is probably the best he's going to do.

I guess I'd also be curious what Len's price tag is too.  We'll see what happens in two weeks when Morris can be traded.
