The NBA Player's Voice Awards were announced.  IT got Clutch Performer.  Brogdon got ROY but Embiid got Comeback Player and Best Social Media.  Kawhi got Best Defender.

The individual best team mate awards were interesting.  Most weren't stars but Conley, Lillard, Lowry and ... Melo were selected.   Besides Melo, Howard and Rondo selections also went against their media/fan stereotypes.  Diaw was selected for Utah and Gerald Green for us.

it seems kind of weird for a "rookie" to get comeback player of the year....

especially when he  got injured again
I trust Danny Ainge

Bit of love for rollie's "controversial" pre-season take on Gerald.

Seems weird for him to play for anyone else now...

Hope he play for Real Madrid for a BIG € deal, or coaches a college team

Shows how impactful he was in the games he did play.  He was playing for the 1st time after missing his 1st two seasons and he performed at an all-star level.  However I'm not sure who would have won it besides him.

Looks like the best teammate wording may have been:  the teammate with the biggest impact on and off the court.

Yeah, a guy who only plays 31 games hardly "came back"
