In the East anything is possible, but even in the East experience counts, and chances of Embiid making it through the season without spending extended time on the IR is slight.

Looked at their schedule.  1st half is much tougher with all 4 games against us and Toronto and most of their games against the tougher west teams.  If they are within shouting distance of the playoffs after the 1st 41 games, they've got a good shot to make it.
