Saw this mentioned in another thread. I've heard the argument that they're not good enough or not hall of famers so they don't deserve the title. I personally disagree but I understand. I think we are title contenders, so I consider them are a big 3. Plus they're too young to know if they'll make the hall i think

"Big 3" is a term that seems to get thrown around way too loosely these days.

Sure, why not.  Kinda irrelevant though, given that you need a Big 8 to win the 'chip today.

History wont remember them as a big 3, but I dont mind calling them the big 3 for the brevity's sake when talking about them.

No.

While close,  none of them are top tier talents in the NBA. They are upper 2nd tier.

Some that I consider top tier currently are,

James Harden
Russell Westbrook
John Wall
LeBron James
Kevin Durant
Anthony Davis

Other recent top tier talents

Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett
Shaquille O'Neal
Kobe Bryant
Dwayne Wade

I don't pretend that these lists are complete, just examples based on my opinion.

I do think our current roster is one of the deepest with high level talents ever. Just not top tier of the NBA talent.

IT finished 5th in MVP votes. So wall above him in top tier? He finished above Davis. Wall and Durant

Anything with big and IT in it is funny.   Well they sure are our big three for now.

IT is our best ball handler
Hay is our best swing
AL is our best big

And other teams will be game planning for those three.

More like a medium 3. Let's not water the term down too much.

One of these players shouldn't be here.

It's silly to not consider IT top tier talent.

If you wanna say that about Horford, despite being the best passing big in the league, fine.

Hayward is as close as it gets to being there if he's not.

I vote yes, big three.
