I also noticed that Bagley had been added to NBAdraft.net's mock draft.

If the lottery played out this way, I would take Bagley #1 and Ayton #3.

Who's better between Bagley and Porter in your opinion?

Yeah and noticed they have Bagley No 2. Bagley v Porter is a debate that will go on all year but they're different players. I think Bagley plays a little "bigger" and seems a bit stronger and more physical at this point. We'll have to see how they look this year of college..

I prefer Bagley also, another year of watching the 2 should clear things up , who knows at this point 1 of the other top 5 could have a monster year and subplant both

This is what makes next year's draft period interesting.

Ainge doesn't specifically have the money for five lottery picks on his team...does he?
Smart
Brown
Tatum
BKN 18
LA 18

Of course he can sign them all, but that isn't the point. I say, if Ainge has two number ones next year, he might go into, or at least try to go into  "win now mode." I guess, if he wants Anthony Davis, this might be the time.

"Yea, we're just busy developing 5 lottery picks...no prob."

If he gets it, Ainge will trade the LA pick to draft two undersized guards later in the first who need to develop their shot...then we'll be ready to go!

I wouldn't spend too much thinking about the scenario of 1 getting 1 and 3 (since the order is based solely on last year) but, what I do find tantalizing are the prospects of a player like Doncic being there at #5, which i would consider worst case for the Nets pick.

As to Porter and Bagley, I prefer Porter.  Has a more refined and versatile game and is a similar athlete.  Incidentally, they did play each other last year so you can see them on the same court.

If we were to get #1 and #3, I would guess that it would become relatively easy to trade for Anthony Davis if we wanted to, especially if the Pels are not a top 4 seed.

Not sure if you guys realized, but this isn't updated for projected standings.
