Just a quick observation. The Nuggets have a lot of depth at the 4/5 and I cant image they will go into the season with all of these guys. Currently their roster breaks down to ...

PG Mudiay, Nelso

SG Harris, Murray, Beasley

SF Chandler, Barton

PF Milsap, Faried, Arthur, Lyles, Hernangomez, Lydon

C Jokic, Plumlee (RFA)

I would think they have to be planning on a trade. I would be surprised if they let Plumlee walk after trading for him last season. They with Jokic and Milsap both being 30+ mpg bigs and Chandlers ability (and advantage) at the 4 its hard to see enough minutes for Faried and Plumlee let alone the young guys.

My first thought is that they will be the dark horse in any Irving trade. If not directing for Irving they could be the 3rd team that facilitates somthing. Another thought is that maybe a S&T happens with Plumlee? Could the Cs get involved and bring him in to start at Center?

Before the Bradley-Morris trade I was hoping for Hernangomez, but that's a more difficult fit now.

I think a 3 team trade with Denver, Cleveland, and Phoenix makes a lot of sense

Something like this

Cleveland - Bledsoe, W. Chandler, Faried
Denver - Irving, Shumpert
Phoenix - Frye, Murray

Obviously the trade can be adjusted in various ways, but that seemingly makes sense for all 3 teams.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

So was I to be honest. He impressed me last season, and during this summer. His versatility is really impressive.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Plumlee has signed a 5 mill/ 1 year contract

http://www.spotrac.com/nba/denver-nuggets/mason-plumlee-13335/

Millsap and Jokic will obviously take most of the mins, with Faried, Plumlee and Lyles being their backups.

Arthur might get some mins, but Lydon is almost certainly  a non factor. Finally, they will prolly experiment with Hernangomez at the 3.

I'm not saying they will say no to a trade, but their roster is balanced, IMO there is no problem there.

No, that's just Plumlee's qualifying offer, which he has not signed.

I think Plumlee is going to end up playing out this season on his qualifying offer and taking his chances next year as an RFA.  My guess is no one is going to be willing to offer him the money/years he wants this offseason, and he'll have to go back for 1 more year in DEN to try to earn a bigger payday next summer.

I expect Alex Len to be in the same position as well.
