It seems every season these young guys come in and are forced into playing grown men thar understand how important it is to stay healthy
The rookies are asking their bodies to red line just to keep pace ,then there are the number of games, travel with back to backs and playing both ends of court at max
.I don't think a rookie is tested till he has a bad injury and has to rehab.Smart had catastrophic injuries his first two seasons'
A high ankle sprain effected his lift, first step and lingered far into the summer ,then the following summer league multiple dislocated fingers and then a dislocated knee that kept him out till january
.Tatum said how badly a sprain hurt his early season
,Fultz(wink wink) sat out end of season
Simmons sat out all last season,Marcus came back
i guess what i am saying having a depp roster of youth may become a necessity

A deep roster, period, rollie. The injury bug is one of the biggest factors in determining whether a team lives up to their potential, yet little attention is paid to it in the press until an injury happens.  I am hopeful that the C's FO moves to upgrade and modernize the medical/training staff will pay dividends.
