If he was open to a two-way deal, I would have preferred to bring him back. I'm not sure if the CBA allows that, and it's no major loss, but I think Jackson has some potential.

The CBA doesn't allow you to sign a player to a two-way deal if you guaranteed them more than $50k in a season, so Jackson wasn't eligible.
