I know he's not even guaranteed to be on the roster, but let's say he stays. How good do you think he will be? Will he just be around for garbage time?

Rollie thinks he's a hall of fame. I kid.
I think he's solid, but don't know how in the world he gets minutes.

TP for the rollie mention.  That's the only reason I paid any attention to him.

Yeah, this is a deep team and it will be hard for him to get minutes.  Also, kind of a "jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none", it's not like excels at any particular skill.  I see garbage time minutes for him unless there's an injury.

1, maybe 2, players will get semi-regular (Green/Zeller level) minutes out of the bottom 6 group including: Nader, Yabusele, Larkin, Theis, Zizic, and Ojeleye. I just have no idea who it/they will be. I suppose Nader has as much of a chance as any of them.

One will also get cut/traded.

Not only will we see some of these guys have injuries, thinning the game-active herd, but so will some starters/rotation guys.  Also we've got only six returning players and two (via trade) with NBA experience. That's eight. When two have injuries inevitably you'll see several of these young guns get game time.

I think a few of these guys are going to get some burn and it'll be sink or swim.  They'll either carve out a niche, or be on the chopping block when at least two new draftees arrive next year.

I see him as a guy who won't hurt when he's on the court and who does a lot of little things that will help.
Now where does he get minutes?  Impossible barring injuries.  I was really impressed with him last year and clearly he was the far better player over james young.  I simply think we are too heavy in the swing position for him to get much pt

I don't think he'll ever see significant time, unless we have multiple injuries. And that's assuming he makes the roster.

Getting a lot of schtick over Nader as a Hall of Famer--my comments were valid in days of james Young and RJ Hunter-
i like all around basketball players that get picked late in draft -dwight powell was another
I hope these Hall of Famers comments are not serious because no way was that ever intended or even implied

REMEMBER JAMES YOUNG A FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK

Nader had elite length NBA body and elite with either hand

The fact he got a contract says he could under normal conditions come off the bench-
-Nader is in trouble too much very good depth
SEMI is my new favorite

I saw promise in last year's Summer League. Hope he can make the leap this year in the NBA.

The Celtics might be better served grabbing someone from the waiver wire who might have a skill the C's desperately need (like grabbing rebounds and interior defense or true point guard skills).

I was taking injuries into consideration with my projections. Last year, Rozier and JJ were basically our 9th-10th guys with Green and Zeller at 11th-12th.

Our 9th-10th this year are probably Tatum or Rozier (I suppose Baynes could slide down, too).  This new crop of third string players should be 'better' than previous years and a couple of them should get some minutes, but nobody that will be in the regular rotation unless long term injuries occur. I will be interested to see who rises to the top.

Sure, in the sense that Rozier kinda made IT redundant last year.

Tatum and Nader are on totally different levels as prospects.
I'm bitter.
