It looks nice when they already assume the Celtics will get #1 & #3 in the 2018 draft. It makes you pause and not want to make anymore moves. LOL I just don't see enough playing time for all this talent if it goes this way.

Replace Porter Jr. with Bagley and we're set ;D

Although we might want to pick Doncic ahead of Ayton.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

At this point I don't even care about the Lakers pick.  I just want Marvin Bagley if he reclassifies.

If we get him I am all set.  If the Laker's pick does convey.. one of the other 4 elite prospects would be icing on the cake:

1. Deandre Ayton
2. Michael Porter Jr.
3. Mo Bamba
4. Luka Doncic

in that order.  I would be stoked to have any one of them along with Bagley, Brown, and Tatum.

The next tier in the 2018 is not looking as strong as 2017 but still some good proespects, some with major upside:

1. Miles Bridges (my pick for national player of the year in 2018)
2. Trevon Duval (elite handle + athleticism = huge upside)
3. Collin Sexton (Marcus Smart-like toughness, probably more upside)
4. Jaren Jackson
5. Robert Williams

Overall, the top 10 is probably not as strong as 2017's (although a whole lot can change) but it is still a pretty good top 10 and a very good top 5.

The idea is bringing all the Brooklyn picks and laker pick off the bench so they gain chemistry, so they one day become the starting lineup. You see just through their first summer league game how much chemistry Tatum and brown gained

Now imagine adding porter, ayton or Bagley to that brown and Tatum

We're gonna literally have the McDonald's all American team come off the bench for us if the ping pong balls fall correctly

Never heard of the Japanese kid at 18.  Did he even play at Gonzaga last year?

OK I've seen enough of Bagley. He's coming out in 2019.

5 minutes a game.  He had a good U19 tournament this month, going for 20/10, which is where a little of the recent hype is coming from, but I don't think he'll shoot up to be mid-1st round material this year.

Meh.  Odds are extremely long that we end up at those two spots.

based on what?  Nets finished as worst team and Lakers finished as 3rd worst team. They both made flopped trades and signed bad players. They stayed significantly worse than the comoetition

I'd say each team got at least a little better but mostly, I'm calling on regression to the mean.  On average the worse get better, the best get worse.

Based on probability.  Even if the Nets and Lakers are the two worst teams in the league, the chance of getting #1 and #2 or #3 are 9%.  That's if everything works out to our wildest dreams.  Since it's not a guarantee that the Nets and Lakers will be the two worst teams, the odds are considerably lower.

If we end up with Bagley or Porter and Doncic its dynasty time..
