It is a bit more complicated than that. Oddsmakers give Cleveland about 15% chance of winning the chip next year and that was before the Irving news. He also is only 28. I just don't think he got a decent offer any where because people don't think he is very good.

Well, ya' know, he has to "think about his family".  So he deep-sixed his own career and now earns a pittance.  Nice move.

He has made nearly 117 million dollars before tax, and probably around 150 million before tax in career endorsements.

Good move.

Nice. TP for the chuckle.

D-rose might sign the first NBA orthopedic shoe contract.

None of the players that got paid left their team without telling the coach or his teammates  during the season last year.

If it's true, then GO KYRIE!

Seriously, when CLE wins, it's ALL because of Lebron, but when they lose, you rarely hear anything about Lebron. It's, "Kyrie didn't do this, Love didn't do this, bench could have done better, Lue got outcoached..." yadda yadda.

Thing is, if Lebron does leave CLE after 2018, then honestly I think it hurts his legacy a ton. Leaving the same team TWICE and leaving teams 3 times, and especially if he goes and joins the Lakers under Kobe's shadow... yikes. Idk but that would rub off on me in a bad way, and I'm sure it would a lot of NBA fans too.
