#Knicks get Kyrie/Chandler
#Suns get Love/Frank

I just don't see why the Cavs move love also. At this point you have to move Kyrie, and while Bledsoe is worse, he is a very good player.

Love for Melo is a negative for the Cavs. Love is a better rebounder, a better shooter, fits in an offense better, and has quietly become a better defender than he was earlier in his career. Also he is significantly younger than melo. The only thing melo is better at is getting and creating his own shot.

Who do you think the Cavs are going to get? They'll be lucky to get $.50 on the dollar. The best move frankly is to keep Kyrie
that is like .10 cents on the dollar. There is no reason for the Cavs to move Love especially to downgrade 2 positions and with absolutely no salary relief or young assets.

They could just do the trade with the Suns and move Irving in a separate trade and get far more for him. Denver is interested and has a lot of interesting pieces for example

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

Cavs would also get picks in the deal and get Loves contract off the books in the likely event LeBron leaves and they have to go full rebuild. They also get to try to win next season. Win/win

they don't get to try and win next season because they would make their team significantly worse.  That is a terrible trade for Cleveland with Love included. Take Love out of it and it makes much more sense.

Would they?  And whose picks?  And if Melo doesn't opt out of his large contract next year, are they really going to get to rebuild should LeBron leave?  And if this is your last year of LeBron, why put a less good team around him, because it could literally be decades until you can compete for a championship again?

I'm sorry, but it's a terrible deal, with the Cavs downgrading at two positions and not picking up a hint of depth.

Why package Love in this deal? That's just bad asset management. And this trade is horrible for the Cavs. Yes, Kyrie wants out, but he's also locked in for 2 more years. They can salvage his value.

This would be a panic trade in the truest sense.

So bacj to my original point, the best move is to simply keep Kyrie, and go for one last Harrah hoping the winning fixes everything. Love has been on the trade block for years. Cavs arent getting a huge return for Kyrie..

Yes, if that's the best deal they can get, it's better to hope that great players' desires to win overcomes great players' desires to be THE GUY.

I think both Miami and Cleveland would agree to this. Plus it gives Cavs a Lebrun replacement when he leaves.

Cavs just get Bledsoe for Irving and fall further behind the warriors and also behind the Celtics? Why?

Can't be mad at KD for being a "beta" and then think Kyrie is dumb for wanting to be the "alpha" instead of riding coattails.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Yup.  Terrible trade for Cleveland.  As said, remove love and maybe sort of fair.

no. Irving isn't James. Many people would be fine trading him and think the Cavs might actually be better without Irving depending on what the trade actually is. The real concern is of course what this might mean to James

I think they move Love to change the locker room.   obviously,  its just a bad scene.
