http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19966213/rudy-gobert-utah-jazz-unhappy-how-gordon-hayward-left-team

Says Gobert, the guy who tweeted childish things and made dumb video after haywards decision singing profanities about his disloyalty (see: In the wake of Hayward's announcement, Gobert posted a video on Instagram of him singing along with Chris Brown's "Loyal." However, Gobert would not acknowledge that the video was a shot at Hayward's perceived disloyalty.)

Meanwhile Hayward wrote a nice and long thoughtful letter that showed he was a class act.

Watch this goof becomes irrelevant without a star carrying this bum on the offensive end.

This guy is a great player but man.. people hype him up like he's Anthony Davis.

Can't wait to see him even more exposed with Utah now that they don't have Hayward.

You know that tweet will come back at some point once he bolts for a different team himself in a few years.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

Id say his giantism is going to get him a few all nba team appearances and thus and enormous contract that only Utah can give him so we'll never know...unless he doesnt make an all nba team.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Boo hoo  :'(

Will be interesting seeing how many points Gobert can score without Hayward, considering his offensive game is shocking.

I have no issue with Gobert taking issue with a teammate not telling his soon to be former teammates he was leaving.

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

Why?  If he tells the whole team he's leaving before he announces it, someone will reveal it in a tweet before Hayward makes the announcement.

I got the impression he never talked to Gobert.  Even after it was official.

Maybe he did tell a teammate (not Gobert) and that was the "leak."

It makes more sense than anything else, in terms of the motives involved.

Ah, ok.  Well if they were friends he probably would have told him.  I've seen tons of people just disappear and retire without telling most of the people they work with.  I always understood because maybe they just didn't want the attention.  That's how I imagine doing it many years from now.  Maybe tell a few that  people I'm close to, but I'm not going to go to every person that I don't care much about and have them tell me how sorry they are that I'm leaving.  Or beg me to stay.
