He went from too good for summer league (which wasn't true even the first game), to looking like a guy that hasn't improved at all.  Browns biggest issues moving will be his handle and his shooting.  Just doesn't have much of a clue in the half court unless he's going downhill.

I'd consider this mildly concerning for the long term.  No nothing, but not good either.  For the short term, I laugh at the idea of him being a starter this year (even though fans will point out that he did well in a few starts last year).  Big difference between a few spot starts and being a true starter).

After the first game I was feeling pretty good about his growth. Now he's still looking raw on the floor.  :(

It's clear he's not capable of being a ball handler yet. That said, whatever offense we're running is not pretty.

He did well in AB's absence. I remember the team having a 4-1? (not sure) record when JB is starting along with IT.

Has the body of a 3, plays like a 2, and dribbles like a 5.

I'm so puzzled. The first game he was clearly the best person on the court. Now he plays like everyone else on the court. Like maybe it's a mental thing.

Like I said, small sample size relatively meaningless.

I'd probably start him at the 2.

Not because he's good, but more because we need Marcus to run the second unit.

Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions.

Its not mental.  He lacks skill that are important for being a good basketball player.

Relax. It's summer league. They're pushing his comfort zone. There's no way he will ever be ready to be a playmaker if they don't push his comfort level in game like situations. He's not ready yet but I do think he's better than last season. He has several NBA qualities and will get plenty of burn this season. No reason to worry.

Marcus will run the second unit...when hayward starts at the 2.
