Watching this Lakers game. Ingram is impressive, but Ball is very unimpressive right now. His shot is crap from NBA range, and his lack of a midrange game is obviously killing him.

1-9 on threes now. They're not playing up on him, so he's just taking the easy long ball. His lack of an in-between game is going to really hurt him in the NBA, especially if he doesn't improve his three.

  • GOT IT!!!
If Ball isn't dominating the ball and running the show he'll just be another guy. Do something besides stand around the arc.

It kills me how much Rob Pelinka looks like Rob Lowe. He could be his body double.

Ball hasn't been all that impressive so far but he has 4 assists and 4 rebounds and 5 points. That's like half of a triple double...

I think he'll be fine from three; he's just having a rough night. The mid-range game/late-clock offense is really troubling. He's struggling with the length, athleticism, and speed of Summer League. The NBA is a whole different monster. Although, the spacing and higher quality surrounding talent (maybe not on the Lakers lol) will help him a lot. Remember, a lot of what makes Lonzo special is enhancing his teammates. In Summer League, that's a lot harder to do.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Looking forward to that Kings juggernaut. Hield, Fox, Skal, Giles, PapaG, Jackson, Mason, Richardson. That's a beyond stacked team.

For anyone thinking The Lakers are going to be anything but terrible this year, The Lakers are losing with some of there "starters" against a Clippers team with no 1st rounders. I don't think the Lakers have a player can defend.
