Looks like he sees this as a testing ground, to try stretching his game. So, a few times he tried to handle the ball in pick and roll, and I've seen more drives and generally more shot creation attempts. If he did any of that in the regular season, he'd take a seat. Based on the returns from games 1 and 2, he's got a lot to work on. Yes, he scored a ton in game 1, but he didn't fare well in game 2, and he clearly has trouble in a crowd.
Whether this is the best place to work on that stuff is another question I can't answer.
