Meh...really nothing has changed. Same Celtic team. Same problems. Same result vs Cleveland

The roster as constructed is just not good enough. And adding scrap heap players and KO just is not good enough.

Danny needs to just build through the draft

Thankful for all the picks that just get turned into more picks

I've always heard that building through the draft is the best way to build a contender.  Danny's doing just that, and we don't even have to tank.  Absolute genius!!

Of course , though, fans are still gonna moan.

13) improved west leaves Anthony Davis likely on the outside of the playoffs looking in.

7) Fans will have more free time in the summer, because we don't have to worry about playing in the Finals

Because adding Paul George was an automatic ticket to the Finals, right?

George plus Hayward would have made us the clear favorites.

We were the 2nd best team in the East and added a top 3 pick to a young core (excluding Horford).

With the Warriors still holding maybe the best young core in history the odds of a title next year were slim even if everything broke our way.

We landed a great young player in a position of need at #3 and added 1 future lotto pick .... for free.
That alone makes it a huge off-season and we have barely gotten underway.

We also have 1 of 3 meeti meetings with one of the most coveted unrestricted free agents this weekend.

That is a big assumption on your part.

I do not see how anyone can call this summer a success or anything other than a failure if they miss on George and Hayward as well as trading the first overall pick.

Each summer we all say wait until next summer or the next trade deadline...or the next draft.
