Here goes...

1) The Lakers aren't getting Paul George for the 2017-18 season, meaning they probably still stink and that pick has a likely chance of landing 2-5.

2) The Clippers lost Chris Paul but not Blake Griffin. In other words they won't be elite, but are not tanking, right in the wheelhouse for that Clippers pick to be a first rounder.

3) Hayward is still out there and meeting with the Celtics this weekend.

4) Ainge didn't do anything stupid, and has a war chest to dump on somebody at the trade deadline or next off-season (I think he's saving up for Anthony Davis much like he did for KG a decade ago).

5) The Cavs won't be getting George, a player that would have really helped them even had it cost them Kevin Love. They'll be hard pressed improving them team next year given the state of their cap and their weak assets.

What am I missing?

6) The East got a heck of a lot less competitive. 2 Playoff teams (the Pacers and the Bulls) got completely decimated.

7) Fans will have more free time in the summer, because we don't have to worry about playing in the Finals

8 ) We kept all of our picks, that we can keep trading for more and more future picks

I feel great so far. I love Tatum, and really like the potential of getting a top big in next year's draft with an extra pick.

Off season is just starting....

7) Neither the Clippers nor Pacers are blowing it up, meaning two fewer teams that could have potentially rivaled the Nets and Lakers as the worst in the league and messed up next year's lottery for us.

Meh...really nothing has changed. Same Celtic team. Same problems. Same result vs Cleveland

The roster as constructed is just not good enough. And adding scrap heap players and KO just is not good enough.

Danny needs to just build through the draft

Thankful for all the picks that just get turned into more picks

By the way there are plenty of other open conversations for venting and complaining. The purpose of this one should be obvious from the title.

8) Brooklyn traded their best player and has signed anyone.

9) west is absolutely loaded. Utah jazz best case scenario right now is probably the 4 seed staring the better of minny and OKC in the face for a right to get swept in the WCSF.

10) We didn't sign a power forward who is constantly injured.

11) We can still sign Paul George as a free agent next offseason.

That's not really feasible.

Boston will have 2 of the top 5 pick in next year's draft as well as their own #1 pick to pair with Brown and Tatum. That should be the path

12) There'll be more opportunities for Brown and Tatum to grow and reveal themselves as future (or present?) stars.

In Brown's case, that is only true if Hayward does not sign here. See #3 in the OP's post.
