Bringing up trade for Middleton idea again.  He makes $15 mil and is a year younger than both Butler and George.  Trade Crowder and AB along with two picks (Lakers and Clippers)

Bucks will need to extend Parker and they are paying a handful of others $10 mil plus.

If not, maybe trade Zeller/Crowder/clippers pick in a sign and trade for Millsap, Gay, or Gallo.  Need a stretch 4 and any of those guys will work fine. Trade AB for a draft pick?

Bringing in Hayward is obviously still the #1 step but any of these guys would be a great 2nd step.

The Bucks would rather move Parker as he doesn't fit nearly as well with Giannis as Middleton does

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Throw the farm for Klay Thompson.

The Warriors are worrying about the luxury tax, let's help them.

Middleton feels untouchable.

A interesting idea would be Bradley for Parker.

Parker still has something of a high ceiling even if he's a godawful defender with a double ACL surfery.

He plays PF and can score. Think Milwaukee might actually entertain it and he can cover 5 positions equally well (that is not at all)

I'd trade for Melo and sign Taj Gibson before any of those.

Melo would play power forward on the Celtics so he'd slot in as a starter. He could be a good fit if New York is just dumping him... Horford, Melo, Hayward, Brown and IT is a pretty solid starting 5...

What more could we do at this point...Blake Griffin gone. Paul George gone. I feel uneasy about Hayward now.

people will hate it,  but that's a much better roster this year.

Losing Hayward and there is nothing out there to go after.

I don't have an alternative to offer. I'm just remarking at how quickly and how drastically the conversation has shifted.

Galinari shoots around 40% from deep, is 6'9" and he wouldn't cost us near as much as George or Butler would have. He's still under 30 years old.

I would target any of these players unless we get Hayward, but once he comes it makes sense to trim down the number of guards on the team and get a stretch 4.
