Since reports continue to come out stating Paul George's desire to take off to LA after next season, possibly with Lebron, why not help facilitate a George to Cleveland trade

To Boston: Kevin Love

To Cleveland: Paul George

To Indy: Bradley, Crowder, Jackson Rozier, Memphis 2019, Boston 2018, Cleveland 2021

IT/Smart/Allen
Hayward/Gerald Green(vet min)/Bird
Brown/Tatum/Ojeleye
Love/Jerebko(room exception)/Theis
Horford/Amir(vet min)/Zizic

This also helps keep future luxury tax payments down as Love is only at $24 million in 2019 and can opt out the year after when Tatum or a big we draft next year might be ready to take a starting job.

I have no interest in love. Horford/Love can't guard 4's on the perimeter. We need an athletic 4 on defense. Ideally with some rim protection? But I'll take PG13 out of position in a pinch.

The point of this trade is to have a tremendous top 4 who can score. Will we have trouble closing out on bigs shooting threes? Yeah, probably. Will it be any worse than last year's top three bigs of Horford, Amir, and KO closing out on bigs shooting threes? No it won't.

But we add an elite rebounding PF who can shoot the three and give you 20 PPG easily along with 10+ rebounds

The Celtics wouldn't be getting the best player in the trade and would be helping Cleveland, our main rival, to load up with a really good two way player that makes them even better. No thanks.

If LeBron is a legit threat to leave Cleveland after this season, why not offer:

To Boston: LeBron James
To Cleveland: Bradley, Crowder, Smart, Zeller, Brooklyn 2018, Boston 2018, Clippers 2019

Theres no way Cleveland would trade Love to Boston..dont want trade a player to your rival that can beat u in playoffs
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Which is why we don't want to facilitate George going to Cleveland.
