don't want Griffin, he is too injury prone.  Reports are out that he won't be back until December at the earliest.  He isn't worth the cost if he can't play a full season (regular and playoffs).

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
This is new.  ;D

Anyways Griffin would be a perfect fit. Questions surrounding his injuries should be noted, but if he could ever stretch his mid range to the 3pt line, he'll be immensely valuable. I'm sure someone like him, who has developed better ball handling skills, and underrated passing vision could succeed in Steven's system.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

If Ainge gets two max players  that is $90M for 2018/19

IT might say...

"Come play in Boston with me for a year before your salary knocks me off the roster."

The one year we would get? Would be a heck of team.

He takes a couple of threes per game now and makes an acceptable 33%.  He's no marksman, but he can help space the floor.

I think Griffin has been working on it.  It would be remarkable to have two big men on the court that can both hit the 3, but are also capable to going inside AND are great passers.  I'm not sure that's ever been done and would make the team an absolute nightmare to defend.
