  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Paul Pierce finally waived. Would prefer he come back as a cheap ring chasing vet, alongside someone like Tony Allen, who's been thirsting for a chance at the Finals.

Regardless, his insurmountable legacy cannot be defined in simple words. He's just the embodiment of Celtic pride, and his will to succeed will always be embedded in our hearts. He's been waived, so obviously declarative statements were issued at the start of this past season that he was going to sign a one day contract with the Celtics.

I do hope he does decide to come back home. He has been sorely missed. And in the end, I can see Paul Pierce having a future; as a coach or an analyst.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply

Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

As a player, PP is cooked. Would love to see him get his jersey retired next season along with KG though.

As for TA, for the minimum, he would be a great asset to add defensively (though he lost a step). I would especially do it if the Hayward + George scenario goes down and the bench becomes depleted as a result.
Let's Go Celtics!!

Doubt Paul will play, morel likely a one-day contract.

It is a HUGE deal to actually prepare for a season and stay in shape.

It's a win-win because Celts don't need him on the roster.
