Harden can't play with other ball handlers. Rockets just got worse

That and the fact that Chris Paul is getting a little long in the tooth for a 6 foot tall guard.

This is a very bad move for the Rockets unless it's just a move for stars so they can attract other stars to join then it may improve but for what Houston gave up and what they are getting back - they clearly lost the trade and the team will be worse.

James Harden used to play with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

He'll be fine.

This. Absolutely.

How on earth did the Thunder screw that up?
Owner was cheap. Also, they gave Perkins a big deal at the time that ultimately led to Harden getting traded for peanuts.

I will be surprised if Carmelo ends up in Houston.

Just can't see the man wanting to play under Mike D'Antoni again.

Plus with Melo they would need to cut the basketball in thirds rather than just in half for all the "ball dominant" players.

If they didn't make that Perk trade they could've fashioned a roster like GSW with Ibaka as the lone big with KD, Westbrook, Harden, and Green...

What could have been a great dynasty...

Yeah, I don't think this trade makes Houston better than San Antonio and I'm not even sure who'll be on this Spurs team. Kawhi is that good. He's the best player in the league in my opinion. He makes those around him better, not one who leaves the Spurs is ever better.. I think The Spurs still win 67 games and are # 2 in the West, tied with The Celtics  for the 3rd best team in the league. If you could combine Spurs and Celtics into one team with two coaches  you'd have a top Celtics squad AND YOUR definite 2018 NBA Tittle winner ": Starting 5 IT, Kawhi Leonard, Jaylen Brown, Al Horford, Dewayne Dedman with a bench of Patty Mills, Marcus, Smart, Avery Bradly, Semi Ojeleye, Tatum, Zizic. With Pop and BS as co coaches... Just a crazy before bed thought. It'd be marvelous!
