Crowder was a better player in 15/16 than he was last season.  His defense regressed and (without looking it up cause I don't have time) his shooting was inconsistent at best. As he didn't do much to slow down LeBron I don't see much reason for keeping him other than his contract is decent.

In Parcells terminology he was a 'JAG' last season - just another guy for the most part.

unfortunately in the NBA top 50 players don 't beat top 10-20 plyers very often.


Celtics need proven elites to beat GS , Cavs in a series.  Where elite players take over games.
