All quiet on the Boston front for now.

Even with Hayward as our primary target and not scheduled to meet him until Sunday, I still would've figured that we'd be hearing some other leaks from Boston.

I'd prefer silence rather than something like "Celtics emerging as clear favorites for Rudy Gay" or "Celtics are keeping Olynyk at 4 years/70M"

Third year of Shaun Livingston's deal is partially guaranteed, source says. Deal structure appears to be: $8M, $8M, $2M guaranteed

Good Lord, Livingston likes his rings! I think he could've easily managed double that over at least 3 or 4 years.

Oh God, Rondo and Ball would be hilarious together.

But I'm guessing LA will only be offering one year deals to keep space open for next summer, right?

Don't think we can do much of anything before Hayward makes a decision.

Bull.

You can talk to guys. Hayward's not a lock, make in roads with other players in case he doesn't commit.

Exactly.

None of these agreements won't be signed until July 7th anyway, so go ahead and talk to players. They know what's up, and they know what we can offer without killing our cap room for our plans.

You can't just do nothing.

Danny, if you're reading this, Andrew Bogut. Call him. NOW! Give him the Room Exception.

I mean obviously you can talk to guys but you can't make any commitments to anyone and that hurts your ability to have substantive discussions.

I.e. Nothing that will get reported.

There's a whole market for this. Have you looked at ESPN today?

Ainge just leaked his PG trade "proposal" from the deadline. Kaufman would've tweeted it, with the full Bulpett article about Ainge's midnight calls in the Boston Herald tomorrow.

That's a good point I suppose. I think it was reported that Ainge called Isaiah at midnight a few years ago even though he never really seemed likely to sign him.

They also called Hayward that night, just to say hello.

room exception? He isn't even worth the minimum. The guy was a cavalier for literally 70 seconds before going down in season ending injury. He's a joke
