Figure out how much Houston has left in non-guaranteeds they can trade, multiply that by 50%, and that's your deal. (At least that's my guess.)Why wouldn't Houston just waive the non-guaranteed contracts and sign Johnson. Is there a cap space trick involved?Yes. Houston is over the cap at this point. Give the amount they're over the cap, they can take back 50% +100k of the salaries they send out. (Twitter also thinks they have an $11 million trade exception, but I don't see how they got that unless I missed a trade yesterday or this morning. They didn't have it Thursday.)

I give the sixers 35 wins next year at most. People need to remember that they'll be handing over their offense to two rookies and a big man who has played half a season.

Embiid only played 31 games. Their starting PG was McConnell a 2nd year undrafted player.
Holy cow, Reddick got 23 million for one year. Let's just wait one more week and let all the teams run out of cap space then lowball players.

The Timberwolves won 31 games last year with KAT, Wiggins, Levine (47 games) and Dunn. It's tough to win in the NBA with very young players. Philly's biggest advantage is that they play in the weaker East.

So far Reddick and Holiday are the biggest surprises to me.

People thought it was impossible they bring back Iggy and Livingston and then resign Durant. All 3 must be taking pay cuts of some sort.
