Rondo to the Pels is perfect.

Been thinking about our old friend and where he may land.
Thought the NO would be a great fit.
Rondo setting em up
AD throwing em down

its also perfect if it doesn't work out and the team discombobulated. AD has to spend a whole season with 2 headcases that teams can't get rid of fast enough off their teams. Both rondo and cousins were one time traded for bags of potato chips cuz of their head case issues

AD will want out of New Orleans so fast

I'm not sure about that.  Rondo was an expiring contract that got us 4/15 of our possible opening day roster:

Crowder
Yabusele
Ojeleye
Jackson

It's also about half responsible for our Clippers 1st round pick in 2019.  If it was potato chips, it was a warehouse club size bag of quality chips at a minimum.  Certainly not 7-11 brand.

Makes sense.  Could make them good enough that AD never demands trade.  How did Rondo and Cousins get along in SAC?

They got really close and allegedly Cousins is lobbying for him.

I want every team in the west not named the Lakers  to improve.

If Rondo is allowed to do his thing both Cousins and Davis will prosper.
Cousins and Davis prospering means NO will be pushing for the playoffs and pushing LA down.

So, somewhere in the 36 pages of this thread, this may have been mentioned already, but Festus Ezeli was waived on 6/30 by Portland.  Do to his injury history, bet we might be able to get him on the cheap.  Thoughts?

I've never understood the fascination with this dude.  If we wanted a big guy who offers almost nothing aside from blocking shots we should have signed Amida Brimeh and been done with it.

Spurs free agent Jonathon Simmons has agreed to a three-year deal with the Orlando Magic, league sources tell The Vertical.

Woj reporting Jonathan Simmons will sign with the Magic for 3 years.

He's a quality wing off the bench and can provide a little stability, coming from a winning organization. Hopefully he can be a locker room leader and the Magic can get above the 30-win hump.

You should look at him a little closer.  He's a guy who has averaged 14.6/9.9 during his career, only averaging 28.8 mpg.  During his high of 34.2 mpg, he was a 19.3/10.9 guy.  BTW, nothing aside from blocks?  He averages .9 per game.

This guy can play and is only 26.

Festus Ezeli averaged a career high of 16.7 mpg in 2015-2016.  I have no idea where you're getting 34.2 mpg from, in any season.

He's also completely missed 2 of his 5 professional seasons.

He also turns 28 in October.

I think you've got someone else in mind.
