Looks like both Phoenix and Minny are out of the Millsap hunt, leaving just Denver for now.

I wonder if Danny would try to nab him if he's still available if Hayward goes elsewhere on Tuesday.

The only thing I don't like about Millsap is his age.  He's already 32.  But he fills many needs in terms of position and skillset, and he has experience playing with Horford already.

If we could get him on a short-ish deal, I'd be on board.  Not sure that's a realistic hope though.

Why can't they do what Philly is doing and overpay him for one year if we whiff on Hayward?

How do you overpay a guy who's expecting a multi-year max deal?

He's actually a good player. He can rebound and spread the floor, something we want. Him and Horford already know how to play together and had some success (60-win season, reached ECF).

It would be disappointing missing out on Hayward and Griffin, but he would be a good signing on a 3yr deal (although unlikely). I could easily see him averaging 16/8/4/1.5/1 for us.

Maybe nobody wants to give a player his age a max deal. I thought I read that two teams are already out. Everyone WANTS a long term max deal but everyone doesn't get one.

He's 32 and would like a longer deal.  I'm sure the Celtics would be willing to go one year with Millsap if he'd take it.  Also, he'd like about what Hayward is going to get, and for multiple years.  Maybe he'll find there's no market.  We'll see.

Not sure if these two have been mentioned

Free agent guard Langston Galloway is finalizing a three-year, $21M deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell ESPN.

David West, per source, to re-sign for one year—will be his last—with the Warriors.

Detroit overpaying end of bench players again. Like Marjanovic last year.

GSW keeping another important part of their bench.

How much cap space does Utah still have? Hill definitely is gone now.

Can they add anyone besides Hayward, or is this pretty much the team now + draft picks?

They will be well over the cap if they sign Hayward now, if they sign both, they are close to Portland and Cleveland.

I'd rather have Ingles at that # than Gallo at whatever he's going to get.

Ingles can defend and keep the ball moving.  Can play 2-4 in a pinch.

You'd rather have Ingles and his 7 points 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game ahead of Gallinari? OK.

Yeah, I love how people are dumping on Galinari, a player who can average 20 points, create his own shot, and shoot better than almost everyone on our roster. Sure, we don't need players like that.

And he does it on elite efficiency. People don't realize how good of an offensive player Gallinari is.
