I believe him.

And I bet Tatum will end up 6'9" plus.

Are they more 3 & 4 or more 2 & 3 ?

Well according to Stevens, it doesn't matter. He wants a lineup of position-less players, and we're getting close to having that.

Add Hayward, George, and Smart to those two, we have 5 core guys who can switch on everything on both ends of the floor.
IMO Jaylen is a SG that can play SF due to length, ability, and strength, and Tatum is a SF that can play PF due to length and ability.
Basically I hope Brown and Tatum are our future 2 and 3.

Definitely a great duo and the added line-up flexibility is a plus.

That's why I am hoping for Michael Porter Jr next year.  He is extremely versatile and can play 3 positions right now and maybe all 5 one day.

Now I'm curious to see Jaylen standing next to Tatum to see who's taller.

Are there enough minutes for all 5 ?

They are our version of Jordan and Pippen, and we have Thomas and Dumars in IT and AB.

He probably measured the flat top.
With the flat top he'd be at least 7'

Versatility is the key word here. Not sure Tatum can be as good a defender as Jaylen; but they needed someone who can collapse the floor to create space for 3 point shooters. Tatum's post and iso ability will provide that space. Brown not a natural in iso; but is a better finisher.

6'8 with shoes looks right. Its just an inch from his numers last year with shoes. About the weight, im not sure, pp was measured 230 in his younger days.

Increased WINGSPAN and STANDING-REACH people!!! Means he could be the longest SG in the entire DX history. If he grew 3/4 of an inch he would most likely be sporting a 7'1''-7'2'' wingspan and 8'10''-8' 11''standing reach....

BTW standing-reaches that were measured during the 2016 nba draft combine are said to be un-official and partially disregarded. There were many abnormalities/discrepancies that happened at that combine in 2016......
I've always taken Jaylen's multiple measured standing-reaches into account and come up with 8'8''. Here they are over the years and you can tell Jaylen's standing reach was def one of the discrepancies:
2012: 8'7.5'' (he was only 6'4'' w/o shoes at this time and still measured an inch more than the combine)
2014: 8'8.5'' standing-reach
2015: 8'9'' standing reach and a 7'.5'' wingspan
2016: 8'6.5'' standing reach....what a joke

Well he measured 6'5.25'' at the combine. Usually the rule is to add 1.25'' with shoes. IMO it is fair to list him at 6'7'' bc they always go with the higher number or give the player the extra .25'' to make it 3/4 of an inch so they can keep the listings clean on tv and espn.

I would be happy if he measured 6'6'' w/o shoes and only grew 3/4 of an inch.....that would be great actually but if he did grow more that is even better.

He probably measured the flat top.

It would have counted in his official measurement a year ago at the combine, so either way he's still grown.

There's literally nothing that you don't know.  It's remarkable.  If I ever have kids, I want them to read your posts for educational purposes.

CBS sees them as wings or swings.

SMH at you guys coming in here to say that the guys a liar... Why on Earth your lives are so bad you've got to call a young kid out and slander him that way I can't imagine. Grow up. Even if he's exaggerating a half inch or something why it really makes a difference is beyond me.  >:(

That is how I see them both as well.

JB was 19 when he was drafted and he is still only 20, so to grow an inch from 19 to 20 is not unreasonable.  Kevin Durant was 6'10 coming out of college but he is being called 7 by everyone now.  I saw reports from the 76ers that Ben Simmons has grown 2 inches this past year, making him 7' now.  Zizic was 6'11 last year but he's 7' now.  People grow.

I was actually curious about Tatum's size because while most sources have him at 6'8 with a 6'10 wing span I've seen one or two that have him at 6'9 with a 6'11 wing span.
