What about this one year rental swaps and help Mini move on from Rubio and maybe a little better.

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ycruur3u

I love AB/Smart, but if we replace him with Paul George it makes the 2018 season a little more interesting as in a win now......   Avery/Smart could walk as much as Paul George will next off season.

AB will command at least Even Turner or more money.   Smart maybe as much....So why not flop one of them in a win now mode.   Throwing money at Bradey/Smart vs Paul George seems like a no brainer......

This is if Minni is really trying to move Rubio still.....We ad a couple late 1st rounders to Mini and Indi so they don't just trade directly.    Its almost like we are doing them both a favor.

That Clippers first rounder (Say Blake and Paul leave) that pick becomes tasty in 2018....so not sure we pitch that ahead of time and pray that they stay...LOL?

Rubio is young enough on a three year deal to give Indian "something" worth value for

Wow. I really hate it.

LOL Me too.   But Paul George 1 year rental and outside chance of resigning a max vs  1 year of Bradley and outside chance of resigning a max with Boston.

Bostons 2018 pick #30 (since we will win it all)  and say Memphis pick LOL.

I think it's a decent trade, especially if Indy also acquire some sort of draft compensation.

Boston gets their star in Paul. Indy gets a youngish PG under contract at relatively cheap value - and he's the sort of PG that can help a guy like Myles Turner continue to develop on the offensive end and they aren't under the gun to bring back Jeff Teague on a max deal. Minny gets a much needed shooter in Avery that'll fit into Thibs' defensive mentality.

This is one of the more balanced trades I've seen on here.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Not sure why this proposal is copping so much flak. It's quite fair, assuming Indy get some picks.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I don't care what Pacers do with AB keep him od deal him to another team but doubt they want Rubio.

It's not a bad trade but would have to be done after free agency. Because you are adding 2 million in salary which takes you out the Hayward sweepstakes.

I have been saying for months that avery has to get traded, he is going to command north of 20Million next year

Rubio makes absolutely no sense on Boston, especially if Bradley is eliminated.  I mean is Smart the starting SG and the only one on the roster post-trade.  And why would Boston need to send Minnesota some picks, if anything Minnesota should send Indiana a pick in that trade.  Plus including Zeller means Boston can't sign Hayward.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Rubio goes to Indy in this scenario.
