Isaiah got robbed. That night was nothing short of magical.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

If you don't have Brad as CotY, fine. But to not consider him one of the three best this season is crazy. Erik Spoelstra? They missed the playoffs. How could a coach get nominated that missed the playoffs. Don't talk about great runs or poor talent, you can't be up for anything if you don't make the playoffs as a coach.

Isaiah should have been in the conversation as well.

Obviously AB is one of the best defenders, but I'm ok with him not getting first-team because of all the games missed. He should have been second-team, though.

All in all, these awards are a joke and mean nothing anymore.

Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas finished fifth in the MVP voting. Thomas landed on 49 of 101 ballots and earned four third-place votes. Thomas finished behind only Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and LeBron James. Thomas finished one spot ahead of Steph Curry, who won the award in 2015 and 2016.
