My super team based on rumors....

Rondo/Smart/Rozier
Hayward/Brown
George/Jae
AL/KO/Tatum
Love/Zizzic

You're joking right? Or are you 13?

You know that's absolutely impossible, right?

He admitted to slacking and not playing D, it is not happening.  No way this sentimental drivel comes to pass after the comment below:

Quote
"I haven't played defense in a couple of years," Rondo said, via Masslive.com's Jay King. "I've been able to hide it a lot with Avery Bradley on the ball. He's helped me out, the young guy. But here they expect me to play defense. And in the West, if you don't play defense you'll get embarrassed every night at the point guard position.

That ship has sailed. Rondo is not welcome in Boston. Remember, he kind of quit on the Celtics and became a distraction.

Rondo STILL CANT SHOOT.  So he doesn't space the floor so he doesn't fit the Stevens system.

So that's gonna be a big fat no.

Rondo was good for us for a few years but he has declined ever since.

I really don't see the fantasy or benefits to bringing Rondo back.

Ha - I would actually go for it and was thinking about the same thing earlier today. If ownership doesn't want to pay IT the max and we have all of these other stars on the team, I would be psyched to have Rondo distributing the ball to them.

Don't worry, Rondo, you are always welcome in Boston!  ;D

Especially if he signs a cheap deal. RR can't shoot and can't be the top 3 player on a championship team....but he can still kill in the playoffs.

We moved on from this era.

Rondo only fits best in Doc's system as long as Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are in the team!

Having watched Brad Stevens twist himself into a pretzel trying to somehow use Rondo in his system and then watch the Celtics "graph of progress" go vertical with Rondo's departure, I am thinking that Rondo wouldn't be in their plans.

National TV/playoff Rondo? Hayward George Horford.

Can see what made you think of it.
