 Apparently it's because he's not the tallest guy ever, but he's super wide and strong and he dunks Like An Earthquake, he's actually a top 22 player in this draft class and it is pretty amazing he fell to us, the second best athlete in the draft after Dennis Smith Jr.

Yes! Good reminder that every time you watch a highlight reel it's worth trying to find one of these "weakness" videos, too.  Very good shooter, really strong and explosive, but also no wiggle, trouble finishing, and "drives into traffic without a plan". There's a reason he wasn't in the lottery. Hopefully he can improve his approach to offense, in which case, more-athletic Jae Crowder really sounds like the right comp.

He can learn a lot from Crowder about attacking the rim on closeouts without elite craft or athleticism. As Zach Lowe once said, sometimes just being decisive is enough.

Jae is about as far from IT's skill level as you can get in the league, but he seems to have a decent idea of when he can get to the rim (or, often as not, draw contact). If Semi can shoot threes, choose his spots to attack closeouts and in transition, grab rebounds, he'll fill his role on offense nicely.

 It's not even close in my opinion. Nader seems like a nice guy but see you later. Semi was the 22nd ranked player in a loaded draft he's got real upside.
