Jimmy Butler
Corey Maggette
Jae Crowder

Anyone else?

Semi is not as talented (skill wise) than Tatum. But I wouldnt be shocked if he ends up becoming the better 2 way player.

Im very happy about picking up Semi with the 37th pick

I watched his draftexpress videos this morning and that is all I know about him. He looks a little Crowder-ish but I also think in the NBA he's an undersized PF who can guard some SF's but is mostly not going to play SF in the NBA.

But he looks incredibly strong and has a nice stroke. He was .424 from 3-point range on 5 attempts a game and he shot 79% at the FT line. So he can have real value as a 3-and-D PF who might be able to push around small ball 4's.

This, again, is all based on the 10 minutes of video I watched of him this morning. Including this video I found on youtube from some guy who loves his athleticism:

Wow. People really need to curb their excitement about this pick. Paul Millsap? Jimmy Butler?! Jeez. Expect a lesser version of James Johnson.

Kind off

But Millsap has a 7'1 wingspan and 8'9 reach vs Semi has 6'10 wingspan and 8'6 reach

Semi does have a 40 inch max vertical vs Millsaps 32

Johnson cant shoot for ****

Butler is far fetched no doubt...

A more explosive Crowder could be what Semi is...

But that would be a heck of a player!

agreed, but with a 3 point shot and more intelligence.

i like this pick. he was projected in the first round (20s i believe) and he very athletic. so, i think he can become an effective rotation player.

the celtics now have 3 similar players for one position on the bench. yabusele, theis, and ojeleye. the summer league should be fun to watch.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
