Ainge was mad when he cancelled on them in SacTown- ainge says the coaches and front office flew to Sacramento from Boston JUST to workout josh and he canceled on them once they were in Sacramento, made ainge mad they had to fly back home: https://twitter.com/byjayking/status/878110561434730496
Danny Ainge said Celtics brass "tried not to overreact" to Josh Jackson canceling a recent workout after they had traveled cross-country to see him, but he acknowledged that he was "mad."
Ainge and Jackson never even spoke to each other

Jackson does not have human decency to recognize it isn't  ok to cancel a workout like that on people traveling across the country to see you

I'm glad he didn't.  I'll continue to beat my drum that he would've been a poor representation of the Celtics franchise, poor fit with Crowder/Jaylen/Hayward(?) aside.  Hope he grows up relatively quickly for his own sake, but glad it won't be on the Celtics watch.

Cost himself $2.5 million in Salary. Good luck making that up in endorsements in freaking Phoenix.

What adults does this kid have around him?  How did they let him get away with that?

He could have told his agent to make the workout a certainty. He didnt. Enjoy less
Money and the terrible team in pheonix where he will inefficiently attempt to pad  his stats in that dumpster fire of a team

You're being very forgiving here.  His agent wasn't responsible for his threatening to beat up a female, and I doubt she shot the ball as closely to her chest as Jackson does.  No idea where he learned that but he'll have to change it quickly.  That and PED up 20 lbs, despite his frame.

Common sense, plus his agent's history of being difficult.

Jackson indicated that he wish he'd worked out for the Celts in hindsight. I think he just got bad advice.

Whomever did, how is there not someone else in the room to put a stop to it?  The third pick gets more money than the fourth pick and the rookie contracts are the same length.  Is his agent so stupid that he thinks playing more minutes on a garbage team will get Jackson a better second contract than being brought along a bit slower by a good team?  Just look at how much Jaylen improved his rep around the league in the playoffs.

What does that have to do with the question of who cancelled his workout?

And, there's no real evidence that Jackson threatened anyone. Damaged her car, yes. Threatened her, no.

I'm happy with Tatum, but I'm personally not all that worried about Jackson.

I'm guessing it's BJ Armstrong, his agent, that made the decision.

ainge says Jackson didnt want to be a Celtic. Agents work on behalf of their clients. This client did not want to work out for Boston
