DE scout video on Kadeem Allen... boy is he a menace on the defensive end... his offensive game looks functional. Can shoot (shot 42 percent from the 3), drive to the basket, pass the ball.   But only avg like 9ppg as a senior.  Likely not a strong suit of his game

BUT look at Tony Allen, AB when he first started, Rozier, Smart.   Guys who made their name on the defensive end first

Allen imo spell the end of Demetrius Jackson.  Jackson will get a chance at SL play to prove how much he has grown/developed since last season ended.    Partial guaranteed contract if renewed by July 15.   But I think Allen elite defense and wingspan  will edge out DJ who is not particularly good at one are of the game

TP Thought the same thing. Although, in Summer League. it's a wild mess of basketball. Too many players trying to show their stuff which leads to selfish shooting, poor passing and over aggressive defense.

Plus, one often can't make definitive judgments simply by watching summer action. Still this was a cagey move by Danny and crew. At the very least it might put worrisome thoughts in Fultz's head.
