Just wondering if it would be easier this way?

Like Cave did with Love after signing Lebron.

Thoughts?

We have Tatum, Brown, Crowder.

If we add Hayward+George, that's a HUGE LOGJAM.

And Bradley currently plays the 2 which Hayward/Brown are capable of playing too.

Well, you have to think Crowder would go in any deal for George.

Plus, George can play the 4 in small-ball lineups, and Brown can play either wing spot.

It wouldn't be as much of a logjam as you think.

Not if you trade a combo of Green/Tatum and Jae.....

Might as well try and pick up Blake Griffin while we're at it.

IT
Hayward
George
Griffin
Horford

I know I'm drinking a lot right now.

Yes, absolutely - that way we wouldn't need to match salaries exactly. If we trade for George and then try to sign Griffin/Hayward, we will only have so much salary left, but if we do what you propose, we can go over the cap slightly with the trade (is it 125% we can take back on the salaries going out?)

Crowder and AB (or Smart or JB - I hope not!) will need to go no matter what in a George trade so that should help clear things up.
