The LA pick should be part of the package. This gives Indy a reason to not send him to LA. Then you just simply have to match salary.

AB or Smart and Rosier, Jae and LA pick for George.

IT
AB or Smart
Hayward
George
Horford

Jaylen, Tatum, Zicic is your 8 man rotation

That's too much.

A couple of firsts (maybe Bos '18 and Clips pick) and seconds With AB and Zeller should do it.

I'd rather not include AB in that deal. Let them take Smart and Crowder instead.

Til we sign Hayward, then its back on

They aren't letting George walk for nothing, Lakers don't seem to be willing to move Ball or Ingram. Danny can easily top an offer of Randle, Clarkson and a few crap picks.

It's small but it's the way the NBA is going.  Tatum is basically a 4 in today's NBA.  Plus in 2018 you have a chance to draft another big and bring over Yabusele.

In the meantime, it's possible to try to use the exception to get a PF like Luc Mbah Moute, Patrick Patterson, Jamychael Green, or James Johnson. Hopefully one of those guys could be had for cheap.

I saw one tweet from some reporter saying 2019 Memphis Pick was one asset discussed.

Obviously there'd be some more but I'm guessing the C's definitely won't be dealing Tatum, Brown, Smart or any future lottery picks (2018 BKN and LAL picks).

ie. It was a draft night rumor with little legs that will now be relegated to the huge trash heap of other NBA rumors. Nothing to see here.

Not quite, it's just being put off until after the Celtics sign Hayward:

@Scott Souza
"Unless #Pacers want some swell second-round picks, #Celtics have nothing of value to give Indy for George tonight they won't have tomorrow."

Utah will trade Nos. 30 and 42 to Lakers for No. 28, securing Tony Bradley, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Well, well, well, unless they up their offer to Ingram or Ball, which is very unlikely, looks like the Lakers are punting on a George trade this season.

That's great news for us so far. Maybe we'll be able to get George AND keep him away from LA for a year to help our LA pick out.

It's going to be really risky without an extension from PG13.

Ainge should honestly play it safe. Don't give up a valuable pick or even players.

I don't want to see AB + Crowder/Smart dealt, only to see PG13 bolt a year later. Nope.

I would love to see George as a Celtic.

However, so long as we have a standing offer to Iandiana that is better than Randle + Clarkson + LAL '20, i am fine lowballing the Pacers and accepting come what may.

Bird is still a consultant there.

If our offer and Fakers' are comparable, he comes here.

Larry is heavily involved in the Pacers draft. I saw him at the Combine on TV.

It's hard to see anyone but Cleveland topping us on an offer for PG at this point.

Ehh just do it. I'm entirely done with Crowder in Celtics green. Bradley he's been hurt at the most pivotal times. Plus Brown should start at SG one day.

Maybe he will be convinced and he'll sign an extension with us once he fits with the Celtics culture. Plus, Ainge could pick up Gordon Hayward with the max.

Why no parameters of the trade? The draft needs to end I need an update. Lol

You gotta feel optimistic though Woj did say "serious" talks also nobody said we were far apart or talks broke off just that they're still apart.

Crowder is on a bargain contract for 3 more years and is a versatile 3-4. Efficient 3 and D guy. Even off the bench, can give you high energy minutes. There's a reason the C's have actually been reluctant to trade him.

Maybe AB could be gone because he could also command a ton in 2018 FA.

Problem is, you can't "hope" PG13 signs an extension here and be willing to give up good pieces in the process. Ainge is playing it right here.
