The Wolves got the #17 too?!  How the hell did they also take a pick back in this deal?

Chicago got fleeced.

Yep #16

Correct, #16.  My bad.

Huge move for Minn. This makes them a playoff team. Lavine is part of the reason their record has been so horrible.  He can't guard anyone.

Seeing this deal makes me think getting Butler would've definitely cost Brown. Bulls get 3 high quality prospects in this deal Brown, Rozier and #3 would've likely gotten us Butler.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
What do Celtics give up to beat this offer?

Asking price a bit too high here IMO. I would have done Taytum+Bradley+Memphis pick or Tatum +Rozier+Bradley but not much else we could give up IMO.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

The Wolves will be a team to be reckoned with shortly. They'll be in the playoffs next year.

I'm just wondering why Butler isn't a Boston Celtic? Seriously, we could have screwed the Bulls just as well as the Wolves.

I'm really hoping we have the inside track on Hayward, or I'm going to be disappointed.

Bulls got .5o cents on dollar for Butler

none of those players will be stars .

Worst fleecing since the Nets trade.
