How will these guys look together in a 1/2 court set?

I love them on defense and in a fast break, but are they reliant on a motion/cutting offense?

I'm not sure if either will provide enough shooting from the wing.

I think it is less about how they look on offense and more about having a position less defense that can switch everything on defense.

You only do that if you plan to pass on Hayward and bring in Griffin instead.

Jackson might be the best combined athlete/competitor in the draft, but Tatum is the better fit.

I'd be ok if tomorrow we had $30m to spend and the following 10 players:

IT/Smart/Rozier
Bradley
Crowder/Brown
Jackson/Yabu
Horford/Zizic

I bolded the players that I think opposing teams would be interested in. Plenty of potential here.

I like Tatum's fit better:
Brown a 2/3
Tatum a 3/4 (if he puts on weight)

Gives us a lot of flexibility, not sure if Jackson can play any 4 in the future, not sure his body can get to there.

Josh Jackson - 6'8" 205 lbs
Jayson Tatum - 6'8" 205 lbs

They are virtually the same exact size.  Brad Stevens always says your position is what you can defend.  Why can Tatum defend PFs but not Jackson?

I don't think either one can right now. But looking at them I speculate Tatum will put more size on than Jackson going forward. Of course if that size is from eating Krispy Kreme than it doesn't matter haha.

I like Jay & Jay...but just don't sign JJ Redick.

Ok sorry, I'll go get ready for the draft now.

During the tournament I pondered Jackson playing point in the NBA.  I search to see if I could find any articles that had that idea.  I found one but nothing else. But if he could:
2018 roster
PG: Jackson
SG: Brown
SF: Hayward
PF: George (we sign George to a max in 2018 instead of IT)
 C: Horford

I think Jackson's handle/quickness is probably superior to Tatum's. I like this idea, at least for a couple of rotations a game.
