I think a deal gets done, Phil will lower his price. He went for a homerun and we all think and hope Ainge says no. A trade including the #3, Smart, Crowder is fair..

Just makes you wonder what happens at the 2. Assuming AB is gone after this season (and smart being the obvious replacement), where do we go from there?

Don't get me wrong I like KP a lot but can he defend a tweener with speed? Also you need a rebounder next to him and we know Horford is not that guy. So still need a rebounder.

BKN pick is going to be top 5 or better next year and there will be 2 superstar type bigs in Ayton and Bamba. BKN just traded their best player in Brooke Lopez, someone who was extremely efficient and extended the floor and unclogged the lanes offensively, they will be NOTHING without Lopez on that team even if Russell averages 20 plus a game.

Phil is afraid of KP being prone to injury and his bad attitude towards the team ( him).

ALL the offers for KP are way too high.
