Here in CT, heard it on WFAN,,,NEW YORK STATION...2 guys mentioned it and started talking about.

Although they are still not confirming a 2nd offer.

One said 2018 pick (nets) , and one guy mentioned Jaylen in one of those trades...

Depends highly on how they rate Smart.

I know he's the most controversial thing here since Rondo, but there are at least some GMs who would love to make him an actual starting PG and see what happens, versus his role here. At least Phil could say he's going for defense if he pairs Smart, Crowder and Jackson. Talk about a blue collar overhaul.

I would do that but no more. Smart was the 6th pick and they're getting the 3rd and our starting SF for a guy still on his rookie deal.

I think that is fair.  I could see that deal being real.  I love Smart, Crowder is a great value, and the #3 is coveted for Josh Jackson.  NYK get a lot in the deal.  Smart and Crowder would bring a lot of toughness to the Knicks and they need that.  This would be a good trade for Phil in getting him out of the corner he has painted himself into.

If that's the case walk all day. I love Zingis but you can't give up that much for him, especially with the injury concerns/fears. Unless the 8 is coming with him and then maybe?
