I'm not seeing this. With another #3 pick in the draft we need a sure things as possible, no place to gamble with the third pick. Boy Orlando would be stoked if Tatum dropped to them!

If we are drafting Isaac I'd rather see us trade down with the Kings or the Magic. I guess he 'll still be available at #5 or #6.

Could be great defensively.

3rd or 4th option offensively.

Very risky.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'm starting to like the idea of Jonathan Isaac, especially if he plays the 4.

He's not going to be your go-to scorer, but really, if we are sticking with IT and (possibly) getting Gordon Hayward, it would not hurt as much.

He has length, he can run, he can stretch the floor. He will be a perfect fit.

If the reports are true, the Celts almost have to take Jackson. He's a much more valuable commodity than anyone available if all these teams are angling to trade up to get him.

For what it's worth, SI had us taking Bender last year.

If we want Isaac, we should def trade out of #3.

I want Danny to find the GM that thinks Josh Jackson is the next NBA star and trade a young talented player. Hopefully Phil Jackson is that guy.

I would approve this. His ceiling is high and that's were I'm going for. I like his rebounding ability, his defensive potential and I also like his shot, it's pretty smooth and quick.

I'm sure the medical staff can handle his astma problems and in Florida his teammates like Bacon were way to selfish to get him fully utilized, so I really reckon him to be a bigger factor on offense than advertised. I actually like his handling and driving ability better than Tatum.

Also in comparison to Jackson and Tatum I think that Isaac is a modern '4' once he gets a bit stronger. Tatum is more a tweener and possibly a big liability on defense. And the athletic ability of Jackson will be a much less advantage for him against NBA-players, also his mid-range shot is really awful (like Smart-awful).
